Thank you for your clear presentation. I would like to advice to read this article: Pecot et al. Why and When Do Historical Brand Transgressions Matter? Journal of Business Ethics, DOI:10.1007/s10551-025-05955-5. In my opinion, ethical failure is also cultural and make it hard to compare companies evolving in different cultural settings, that would give more counter intuitive conclusions.
